I have a samsung for few months.
I setup a pop3 email and is working fine when I am in the network. When I get to a wi-fi I can receive but not send. The only ways to send are to turn of the wi-fi, which is getting annoying, or to enter the smtp of the wi-fi I an connected at the time, which again is not practical.
I went to koodo booth and also searched the web, but no solution found. Before I tos this piece of crap in the garbage, is there any solution?

You could contact your email provider to see if they have another solution. I know shaw based emails were like this for the longest time and then they started offering a solution through microsoft exchange.

It has nothing to do with the phone. It is a problem with internet providers blocking email traffic from 3rd party servers to reduce spam on their networks. The only way around it is to use an email app which will automatically try to use a different outgoing server if the first one fails.
Urugh! I am having same problem. Tried to respond to email and responses sitting in my outbox. Don't know what to do ...
Do I need to return this phone?
