PM to Koodo SIM card setup

I am moving from PM to Koodo with the $40/6GB plan.  I ordered online at the beginning of the week and the site had indicated that it could take up to 10 business days to process - which is perfect because I was heading out of town - but the SIM card showed up yesterday so it was quick - my wife signed for the delivery.  Unfortunately, I won't be back home for about a week so my question is how long do I have before I have to activate the Koodo SIM card and port my number over?  Secondly, when will I start getting charged for my new Koodo account - now or once I activate the SIM card?  Thanks.

Hi Greg,
Did you receive the activation email? you will be charged from the date you were activated. If you don't receive any then you need to wait or contact Koodo directly to ask for it.

Yes, I received the activation email yesterday about 20 minutes before the Koodo sim card arrived at my home.  Ok, so I am technically being charged now then.  I guess I better figure out how to get the sim card shipped out to my location.  Thanks.
