You meant you wanted to cancel your account in another thread? Were you on prepaid or monthly plans?

If you were on a monthly plan, you would have to call Koodo to get it cancel, or you could ask your new carrier to port your Koodo number to it. The account would be canceled and you would receive a confirmation email.

You mentioned some info on the other thread that you paid your koodo bill completely Jan 31 2018. Then you switched from koodo to virgin Feb 1 2018.

Were you able to port/transfer out your number? 
 - You said your number was suspended...?   What do you mean by that?

I had a monthly plan with koodo...I paid my bill and I have the same number with virgin..my phone was unlocked.

It said on my koodo account my service was suspended port out. I am not sure what that mean.
But I spoke to a representative of koodo and told them I was switching to virgin.

So, you could port out your Koodo number to Virgin.

If you had a postpaid/monthly account, then you can access your self serve for 90 days after your account was closed (ported out).
They will still send you a final bill through self serve on your regular billing date which included remaining Tab balance, overage charges if any and/or some credit if any.
I would check my self serve at least 2 month after ported out to make sure everything is clear.

Good to know :) 
Just wait for your final bill on your regular billing date, and check your Ebill.
It will show you detailed info about your final amount of charge/credit with dates.
