It would be great if you could offer Talk only plans. I don't want data on my phone but I need unlimited minutes. $60/month is a bit steep for talk only.

Just get an app, like viber and wherever there is Internet (your home or wi-fi in a million places) you can talk for free as much as you want.

Have a look at Public Mobile, they have an unlimited talk plan for $30 province wide, or $35 nationwide. Beware that there will be NO texting included, and no phone support, no phones (you need to provide your own). You are basically on your own, if it works, it works. They do have the same coverage as Telus and Koodo though.

If you can live with that, check it out :)

The public plan is good although with koodo's $30 plan you get over 400 hours a month to talk. After 5pm and weekends at least.:-)

Take a look at:

As long as your calling habits are well established, they are a good point of departure. Not surprisingly, the best carriers/plans will depend entirely on your personal use. There is no one clear winner for everyone.
