Wow, I hadn't realized the plans were different across the provinces. I work in Quebec and signed on because Koodo sent me a black Friday offer.  I was totally excited to see what I thought was a fantastic deal on a plan with a fantastic deal on a phone --  4GB  for $49/ month and unlimited minutes...then when I went in to check the nitty gritty, it switched over to Ontario...where the best I could get is 2 GB + 1 + 1000 min is $60 -- holy cow what a difference!!! Ontario isn't getting the love... :(  Don't we deserve the same rate?

Koodo sets its rate plans according to the competition in each province. Sadly until Shaw expands more in Ontario, we are out of luck.

In Quebec, Koodo competes with regional carrier Videotron. As Videotron offers lower priced packages within Quebec, the other carriers price match, or would likely make few sales.

Years ago, Koodo bowled me over with their tab, no contract, and affordable rates. Now they are exactly the same as every other company.  It's too bad Ontario is being left behind.
