I'm a international student and I'll live in Canada for one year and a half. Why can't I get the large tab plan to buy a phone if I'll stay here for more than a year?

I suspect that it's due to the results of your credit check. Unless your credit is solid enough to qualify for an account without a $200 spending cap, you don't qualify for Tab L.

But I have credit. I have a scholarship and it cover the costs of the tab large plan.

Scholarships don't equate to credit Franklin. It's determined by thrird part companies based on your history of paying back loans. Since you haven't beeen in this country long enough they have no details on you.
