If I have a plan I like with another carrier but want to become a Koodo customer, would you match that plan?

The plans on Koodo's website is what you get. Koodo does not price match plans

If you've had the plan for awhile I'd say stay right where you are as nothing will be as good as the plans were a year ago and back from any of the Big 3 or their subsidiaries for the foreseeable future anyways.

If your with Wind and have a limited unlimited plan then there's no way anyone would price match it as they offer much much better sevice than winds very limited areas of true unlimited use coverage or wind zone as they call it. Also winds penatration of their signal through brick wall of houses and buildings is terrible, so there's no reason for anyone to match their price as every other carrier including koodo has service coast to coast for talk, text and data.

Well the plan I have now is Fido's old $60 Smart plan (unlimited nationwide calling, int'l texting, CD, VM, 2GB). I worked hard to get that plan since I wasn't technically not eligible for the Smart plans, but I'm getting tired of Fido's coverage in my area. However, I don't want to leave that plan for something crappy.

does fido honor the price as long as you stay with them. I am thinking of switching from Koodo as they are not willing to work with me.

From your own posts, it seems you don't want "help", you want a new phone.

Understands the word Jedi, misses the obvious Star wars reference.
New phone, as in a phone that you did not have before.

John, you honestly need to call Koodo directly and sort it out with them :) You're only making yourself angry in this public community... don't forget we're all just fellow customers, none of us speak for Koodo (except the people with "Employee" behind their name).

I think everything has been said that needs to be said on this particular subject, and it might even be wise to lock this thread since it seems to go round in circles by now.

That said, feel free to come back with any other questions, John and we all hope you get what you want from Koodo. And if you decide to move over to Fido, you won't get any hard feelings either. It's up to you :)
