plan not eligible to be changed message

I'm trying to remove the $7 warranty add on which I was informed I could do at any time. Every time I try a message pops up on screen saying "plan not eligible to be changed". I'd love to call and talk to someone but I refuse to be charged $10 for something I should be able to do easily for free...

Hi Amanda,

Give Koodo a call, explain to them when you try to remove it from self serve that it gives you an error and ask them what you can do to fix it. They will most likely just remove it for you at no additional charge.

You're never charged for calling when it's something that you could not have done by yourself online. This includes when the website is giving you issues.

Thank you all! I tried calling but hung up after the message prompted that I would be charged $10 for the call. 
I'll try calling again :)

If you listen carefully, the voice says you may be charged. Not will be charged.
