I was originally told that I had unlimited north american minutes, but now I see I only have unlimited local minutes. Help me find a rate deal please.

Chances are you have unlimited Minutes Canada wide which is anywhere in Canada not North America.
Where are you trying to call?

I either need a rate plan, or I am going to have to cancel my contract... I feel like I've been lied to in order to get into this situation.

I think when you heard "nationwide" you thought that meant North America and got confused. Or the rep was not clear. Either way it's on the agreement everyone signs when they leave the store.

Did you get your phone and/or plan activated in a store from a rep? If so, where was it?

I got my phone at a Wow mobile booth from a rep. And I was very sure that I inquired about North America, as I was setting up two phones, and was well aware my partner had family in the US.

Ah. Unfortunately it isn't included, that would have shown on the agreement. However, it is possible to get unlimited U.S LD for $10/month. It uses any minutes you have in your plan (unless you have Unlimited minutes). Maybe go back to the store and talk to the manager?

If that $10 unlimited US calling works 100% with my unlimited local minutes, I'm sold!

Yes it does! Unlimited calls to the U.S (from within Canada). You can add it yourself in Self Serve or talk to customer service about the misunderstanding and have them add it. Maybe they'll do something about the charges (no guarantees though).

I had changed my plan in December 2017( $30 dollars plan). It was the date on December 10,  2017. I had canceled the service with Koodo on December 31, 2017. How come to my bill now more than $40 dollars. Even, I did not use the service until January 10, 2018. I got another company from January 1st, 2018.  Please, review the invoice with the explanation, You had sent me a new invoice last week.

Listen, I have a proof of my plan change( 30 dollars plan- the month of December 2017) and they send me the amount. Which amount should I pay my next bill? I have a copy. I will show other agents as well.

Yes, i do not know how many times i told them i do not have an account with you koodo anymore. Why they gave this 611 .. no idea.
I will try 1 866..... is it free ? or they will charge me.

Talking to Koodo about your bill is free.
Toll free doesn't cost you long distance charge.

If you contact them/ anywhere via toll free with your mobile phone, then every minutes count(it will use your minutes) if you have a limited minutes.
