I am very upset I had a phone that the microphone wouldn't work so I sent it to you and got another under warranty! Then next thing you know I got a bill for the phone which I paid because I need a phone! pretty bad business I won't be recommending koodo to anyone and before I raved about it! The phone always had problems the volume always went down! And then I would have to check it 4 times a day to make sure it was up high! And other minor things that I delt with! the replacement Samsung phone works great! How the first one should have worked When I was told to pay the 100 I couldn't believe it! That it was damaged that's bull and I will be changing providers! soon! so this is far from a praise so people beware!~

The device not working correctly is an issue with the manufacturer of the phone which isn't Koodo it's Samsung or Motorola or HTC, ect so really you should be complaining to them.
Next it would have been explained to you that if the device was deemed to have physical damage then you would be charged for the repair which it sounds like you were, as such there is no need to call and explain what the end result was since you would be notified by simply being charged the amount that was explained to you.

Curious what phone it was exactly that you had the issues with?

Well I called Koodo they said to send it back so I got the new one and replaced with the sim card sent it back through puralator as I was supposed to and 3 weeks down the road I get a bill for 100.00. I called Koodo but the guy said it was not warranty but damaged now it was not damaged unless by the courier! so I was very shocked! So paid it as I didn't want any bad debts but its been bugging me and wanted to voice my opinion! All I know is the phone had a lot of small issues when I first got it and I just delt with them but when people can't hear me because of the microphone then it was time to get a new one and I thought it was all set up for warranty and then I got this bill with no explanation! If your dealer here in trail was a full koodo dealer they would have seen how it worked at stuff but just said call koodo so I was left to do it on my own! Anyway I reallyu like Koodo my best friend has it and on the weekend my brother in Law just told me he went with koodo and I just let it go I didn't say anything to him hopefully he will have better luck then me > this new phone I had since Feb of this year so I was told it was warranty and I did not damage it! I have already paid the money but it's the principle!

The store you went to is likely authorized to sell Koodo products. They probably sell products from other providers meaning that they're not an actual Koodo outlet and are considered a retail partner. If you went to R.I.E. in Trail, looking at their storefront, they appear to be an authorized Telus dealer, but they also sell Koodo products as well.

There's really not much more we can do here from the community side of things. We are all customers just like you. If you haven't done so already, follow Yannick's suggestion and send Koodo an email (link below) detailing what you've written. This will allow Koodo to investigate the matter further.
