Quit annoyed at the piss poor service with Koodo.
All weekend I was in Timmins at a golf tourney. I was not able to send any texts nor receive any while the people beside me were texting back and forth. Even when they would send me a text and i would never get them and they would not receive a message saying any issues had occurred. People tell me all the time they sent me a text and ask me why I don't respond - because I never get them!
Is it time to leave Koodo and get a provider that can deliver?

Koodo has a tech department for these issues. I recommend calling. *611 Option 6.

Was there any message displayed on the phone to show no service?
Were you able to make and receive calls?

This is what I would call first world problems Michael.:-) You are at golf tourney and you biggest concern is missing a few texts. :-) I hope you got a hole in one though.

Pull your battery and SIM card and most likely your problem is solved. And it really doesn't matter which cell company you choose this happens everywhere. The only difference is how frequently.

Only problem is it is always my phone and the company I deal with. Odd and peculiar but isolated to me and mine.
And no - no hole in one. If you ever saw me golf you could understand why.

I was able to make and receive calls and my phone simply asked me if I would like to "try again" to resend the text. Nothing else.

After the steps LairdC posted, if that doesn't work, then a call to tech support, most likely, would have fixed the issue. I was not aware of any issues in Timmins over the weekend.

Now you are aware.
Problem seems to have been solved....for now. There appears to be a number of texts lost in nowhere land. Hope it wasn't something important.

Just because you had an issue in Timmins, does not make it a network issue. This could have easily been an isolated incident.
