So i called wind and they said i have to get the unlock code from you, how do i get it?

You need a koodo account that hat been active for at least 3 months. Koodo will then unlock the phone for you for $35. Otherwise you will need to get the unlock code from a 3rd party such as cellunlocker.net or gsmliberty.net.

Before you waste your money, your Koodo phone most likely won't work on WIND. What phone is it?

Cell providers sell devices at a discount so that they can be used on their own networks. They gain no benefit from allowing you to use the device on another provider's network. Therefore there is an extra charge to unlock the phone.
In other words, you own the phone but it is a locked phone.

What is your mobile brand name&model? You can easily unlock your mobile phone by using unlock code. If you need unlock code you can visit this site Simpleunlocking.com here you can get the code and unlock your mobile easily. To get the code you have to mentioned your mobile brand name, model, which country is locked now, network provider and imei number. Then they send unlock code through email. Hi there!

I read your concern about your phone Wind. If your phone is asking for Sim Network Unlock Pin when inserted a non-compatible Sim, then please visit on this site.

Hi James Paul Hingabay, welcome to the Koodo forum. I do see that you are new here. One of the forum rules is to not revive old threads (this one dates back three years with the exception of a similar post to yours two years back).

OP's phone (Galaxy Ace) from Koodo likely won't work on Wind/Freedom. I think all 2016/2017 phones (currently in-market) work on Wind/Freedom, and a select few will even handle LTE on Wind/Freedom's network.

We do appreciate the contribution to the forum, but be sure to not give the impression that you're advertizing 3rd party services on this forum. That would come off as spamming the forum.

Looks like our friend Sibi Paul was a one post user who only had the intention of advertizing a 3rd party unlocking website.

Perhaps admins could lockdown or close this thread?
