Phone is starting to become defective unfortunately. Since it's over a year, the warranty has expired. If you're willing to pay for the repair ($150) you can send it away, otherwise it's time to look at getting a new phone.

I might look into getting it fixed..but I have also been thinking of getting a new phone. I have the Samsung Galaxy Ace (GT-S5830D) which is fairly old. Would you have any suggestions on where I could get my phone fixed? I have previously taken my phone to a place called CPR (Cell Phone Repair) when I had cracked my screen and they were pretty good at replacing my screen. I am not sure how much they charged me. If there is any other places to take my phone let me know! :)

Since it's the Galaxy Ace, I would recommend getting a new phone.

I'm going to second this motion. I had the Galaxy Ace, and it's honestly a crap phone. If you're not looking to spend a lot of money for something like a Galaxy S4, go for the Moto G, best phone in the lower price range out there.

Never mind I found out its Motorola..it is a fairly cheap phone for what it is but doesn't seem that great to me..it doesn't have an SD card slot and you only get the memory amount it comes with which i don't like

Ok. I might go with that. If I still have an amount on my tab to pay off..can I put what ever money I have left to pay off towards getting a new phone?

You have to pay out the remaining tab first, which you can put on the next bill.

You can bill yourself out for the Koodo tab through self serve by clicking Koodo tab and tab payoff. After you do this you can redeem the tab in store towards a new phone.

So after i pay off my tab....then the money that goes towards my tab can go towards a new phone?
