phone not working

i've just activated my sim and the my phone won't call. is this because i need to pay money onto my account even though it says the bill is due in three days on the 24th. should it be working right now? their might be a problem with phone not being unblocked from my uk network. if you could advise that would be great

Hi Richard,

Is it a prepaid subscription? In that case you will need to buy a "Talk" booster in order to make calls. Otherwise, you might need to switch off your phone for a minute (remove the SIM card even to be sure) and put it all back together... usually that sorts it :)

Edit, oh wait I just saw the UK network remark, are you abroad, Richard?

it almost sounds like the phone is FROM the UK and is locked to that provider still.
