My brother has the phone in BC, I'm in Alberta so there is no way for me to get to the kiosk and replace it. I am hoping he can pick up a pay as you go phone and just put in the SIM card from the broken phone. Is this possible and will everything remain the same?

yup. only possible kink is if you switch from a blackberry to a non blackberry, or vise versa. Some data features may not translate.
Thanks Timo! Not Blackberry, its a Samsung Ace II. Not the greatest phone, but functional. I'm just hoping that the phones available have wifi capabilities.

All Smart Phones offered by Koodo will have Wifi capabilities.
The older flip phones will not

You could consider the new Galaxy Discover, Kimberly to tie you over at least temporarily. It's certainly not top of the line, but as you said, it's functional :) The best bit is it will only set you back $100. I'm not sure if it is available yet though.
Dennis, that's great to hear. Sophia, I have seen that phone at Walmart here in Alberta, so I'm hopeful my brother will find the same one in BC.
