I've got some questions about upgrading your phone. I've currently got the Nexus 5, which takes a micro SIM, now if I wanted to upgrade to the Galaxy S6 say, it takes a nano sim, would they switch out my sim card for a nano one with my plan on it? Or would they just cut the sim card or something. Now, what I'm mainly curious about is, my mother has the Nexus 4, and we wanted to, when he tab is paid, to upgrade her phone, in which she would then give to me, and she would take my N5, would you (they, whichever) do whatever needs to be done to my SIM card apposed to my mothers to make it work with the upgraded phone? I'm hoping for the GS6 Edge if Koodo gets it, if not just the 6

your new koodo phone will come with a new sim and the kiosk will swap your plan and number onto the new phone. Or you can do it at home on self serve

Now, if she's getting the upgrade, but giving me the phone, would they swap my number and plan instead? If you understand what I'm trying to say.

Yes.

Mom gets phone but you need to make sure Koodo activates the new sim card on your phone line (once the sim is set with one phone line the sim is no longer good to be used on another line).

If Koodo wont do it, you can activate at home. Basically she keeps her sim and number in her phone. And you use swap sims on self serve so you are using the nano sim in the new phone
