The Nexus 6P is listed at $100, and $21 x 24 months = 100 + 504 = $604 total, when I browse the store not logged in. This is the same price as the Samsung Galaxy S6.

I have $100 tab credit and when I log in, the page says the phone prices have been adjusted to reflect the credit.

The Samsung S6 changes to $0 + $21x24 = $504 total. (Makes sense)
The Nexus 6P changes to $264.00 + $21x17 = $264 + $357 = $621!!!!

What kind of scam is going on here? Why would having $100 credit make the Nexus 6P $17 more expensive, instead of $100 less expensive?

The full price of the Nexus 6P is $724 so minus your credit would be $624 which is what it's showing (actually even a couple dollars cheaper from what your saying) so where is the issue of I'm not getting where the pricing issue is exactly?

The price is not listed as $724 on the koodo website. As I explained in my post, koodo lists the Nexus 6P and Samsung 6S as the same price, but when I log in and my credit is applied, the Samsung price goes DOWN, and the Nexus price goes UP.

@Eric The Nexus 6P is indeed listed at $724.

But with his $100 tab credit and activation credit on Tab plus, it should be
$0 + $21x24mo = $504
instead of $264.00 + $21x17mo ?

But the Samsung S6 is "listed" as $760 and it still applies the $100 credit correctly...???

https://www.koodomobile.com/phones/nexus-6p

I laid the math out in my original post very clearly and everyone is ignoring it? I don't understand why one price goes DOWN $100 as it should, and the other goes UP?

Both phones are $100 down + $21 for 24 months, so why does the Nexus 6P become MORE expensive than that, when I have $100 credit applied?

To be clear, I haven't purchased either of these phones, I simply have the credit on my account (a promotion I think.) When I log it to the phones store page it clearly says it is adjusting the prices on the page to reflect the existing credit balance.

I don't understand why the Nexus 6P price changes the way it does either. The price for a Samsung S6 I am using only as an example, because it changes exactly the way you would expect.

Bernards official response shows that the Nexus is $100 + $21x24 exactly like a Samsung.....so it doesn't make any sense that they are different prices after adjusting for credit, and doubly doesn't make sense that the Nexus would be MORE expensive than if I bought it "anonymously" without credit.....

It's baffling.

I see $21X24 for both. They are $100 on TAB Plus. You have $100 of TAB credit Eric that you can put towards either of these phones.

However, the S6 is in store only and the Nexus 6P can only be bought on TAB online. We are fixing that, likely by the end of the month.

Bernard, what you are saying would make sense if it was true, but when I go to the store page logged in, the Nexus price INCREASES as I have explained. Something is definitely wrong here.

Can you grab a screenshot and post it here Eric?

I see...
Eric, Nexus price is still same $724 Retail price .
And you as an existing customer, you can only use a "Tab" > $364 + $15/mo for 24 mo.
Then your $100 tab credit makes $264 + $15 x 24mo

Just to confirm...this is what you see when you are logged into your account, right?

Mayumi, if I am understanding you correctly, you are saying that the price displayed for the Nexus 6P is the Tab price (Tab+ removed because I log in as a customer) but the Samsung S6 price listed is the Tab+ price, which is not 'actually' available to me?

So it sounds like the solution for this would be for me to stop being a customer of Koodo? What do you think Bernard?

Because the S6 is available in store only(for new and existing doesn't matter).
So you can buy it with the "Tab plus" with $0 + $21 x 24mo.

But N6P is available only on webstore and you can only use "Tab".  Bernard  said they are fixing this issue.

I can only echo what Mayumi said Eric.

Eric.  It's a technical issue on their webstore that we existing customer can't use the Tab plus online. And they are working on it.  Yes, it's very inconvenient.
So I don't think leaving Koodo would be a good solution for this.
But if you can find better deal -phone price and plan overall- then go for it. It's your choice.

So existing users not being able to get the Tab+ price is a web bug? And the Tab+ price displaying for one phone and not the other is a second web bug (related to in store only vs. web only)?

Meaning that once one/both the bugs are fixed they "should" be the same price for existing customers?

Pretty confusing!

Yes, it is confusing.
Also If they offer a phone that is only available in store, it should state clearly on the phone listing page too.
I hope they can fix this issue much sooner and we get less headaches.

Ohhh, I figured it out. There's an error on the website.

Notice that the 6P price says $264 with "The Tab", in this case, it's originally $364 - your positive 100. That would mean there should only be a $15 Tab charge X 24 months. The problem is it shows the $21 Tab Plus charge instead. So it's mixed up.
