My phone has no service and I can not find a place on this damn website to tell Koodo this so I am posting it here - hopefully someone will contact me. My son's phone works fine(on same plan).It worked right up until about four hours ago then showed "no service".

Hi Cindy,

The Koodo Community is a great place to get 24/7 support even when Koodo is closed!

To begin, turn the phone off and take the SIM Card out, as well as the battery. Let it sit for a few minutes and re-assemble the device. Check to see if it works.

If it does not, verify your phone's APN settings by following the instructions at the following link:

If you have an iPhone make sure that 3G is enabled (settings, cellular, enable 3G).

Koodo does not have 2G service so if you turned this off accidentally, then you would have disabled your service.

Also with an iPhone, you would have to turn on airplane mode and then turn off airplane mode since you cannot take out the battery.

First thing to try is powering down your device and removing the sim card and, if possible, the battery Wait a minute and then reinstall the sim and battery. Restart your device.

Didn't work?

Check and be sure you're not in Airplane or Flight Mode.

Still not working?

Navigate to your settings and mobile network settings.

Be sure that:
Network Selection is set to Automatic
USE 2G Only or USE GSM ONLY isn't selected

Network type typically should be "GSM\WCDMA PREFERRED"

Still not working?

Change NETWORK SELECTION to Manual
The device will perform a scan which could take up to 2 minutes. You'll be presented with a list of available networks. Choose Koodo or Telus from this list.Note: Doing this disables international roaming. Should you ever want to roam in the future you'll need to change this setting back to automatic
