Hello everyone :) I'm with one of the old koodo plans from back in April 2010. I'm considering switching to one of the new $25.00 / month plans with data saver. I use about 3 mb of data each month. With the data saver will i get charged for this data $5 or would i fit into the $0 category?

You would get charged $5 because it falls within that first 25MB range.

most of it is from picture messaging though. Only Kb of it is actual data use using the 4g network . Would I still get charged $5.00 for this data?

Picture Messaging data isn't counted. Only those used by apps, web browsing, video stream, etc.

Chances are, you are going to have data usage because of apps running in the background.

okay well lets say I use 370 Kb of data this month. Will data saver put me into the $5.00 category or the $0 category ?

If you use between 25KB & 25MB, you will be charged $5.
