I bought rose gold i phone last month and three weeks it had lots of issues.
It shuts down itself
will not turn own with power key for few hours. It really sucks and when i took it to koodo service they sent me to iworld. Everything is so complicated which is not cleared when they take money from you.
I will not recommend service with koodo.

It will still be under full warranty, but yes you'd need to contact Apple for that. It is not Koodo's doing, but Apple wanting to have full control... it would be the same with any carrier you bought the phone from.

What's wrong with Apple controlling the warranty process? It's much better this way. I'm able to just go to my local Apple Store and get a replacement phone on the spot, rather than waiting for a replacement to be shipped.

It's convenient for those who are near Apple stores, but for others who are far from them it makes it more difficult since you are usually going to be out of your phone for a few days.

No real difference - they will send you a mailer to send it to them. There are people who have to do the same if they're far away from a Koodo location.

I dont understand the complication.  If anything, it is simpler with Apple.  No need to deal with Koodo.  Apple controls the warranty process throughout.  It is their phone, they take ownership of getting it fixed.
