is it possible to get a transactions of past text content and the sender? Or do I have to get a subpoena as I need them to have the police charge someone.

Also depending on how long itsĀ  been, there is also a chance it's already been over written which in this case you are SOL.

Aside from Falcon's suggestion, the only other way is through a court order. Emails are obviously much better for keeping a history of conversations because they're easily stored.

Also in general it's a crap shoot if Carriers retain anything. Telus does it for 30 days and I cannot recall if Koodo does. Other than that it's usually just the meta data that is retained that you can get.
