Hi all,

A recent convert here from the iPhone - just got my Samsung Galaxy S2X today. With my iPhone, I had a password to protect my phone from being used if for some reason it was lost. Is there a password option for the Galaxy so it cannot be accessed/used without entering a password?

If you know about how I could go about doing this, please let me know.

Thanks!

Never mind, played a bit longer with my phone and figured it out!

Speaking of if you lose it you should download this anti virus app that also has the features in this pic to remotely lock, wipe and take a pic of the person who stole your phone if need be. https://play.google.com/store/apps/de...
There's also many other great features and best of all, it's FREE!!!!

If you haven't done so already, I'd recommend you setup a gmail account on your phone, even if the phone is all you use it for. that will at the very least allow you a chance to unlock your phone if your get locked out of it.
