I own a Samsung Galaxy S II and recently changed my Hotmail password on my PC and now I no longer get emails on my phone. I tried to add my Hotmail account with new password on the phone (under account manager) and it tells me the information is incorrect/invalid. Perhaps someone can help me with this?

I've had this issue before. Log into your hotmail (or now outlook) and check if you have 2 step verification on. If you do, turn it off. Now, reboot your phone and try adding the email again. :)

Once I log into Hotmail where do I find the 2 step verification.? Thanks!

Go into account settings which is under your profile in the top right corner> then go to security info. If the device is not trusted there'll be some security code process> once you get the past that there will be an option to turn off 2 step verification. :)
