What mail service do you use?

Rogers Yahoo in Canada. No problems receiving email on my phone, and no issues on my computer although I did receive a notice on the 20th of February from my provider stating the following:

"We know how important it is for you to stay connected, including accessing your email seamlessly on your phone or through your apps.

The technical issue with our partner Yahoo! that may have caused a disruption to your email services for several hours on Saturday has now been fixed.

We wanted to send you a note to offer our sincere apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Please know that we're working hard to prevent similar issues in the future and bring you the best possible Internet service."

My computer is working fine and I can receive emails on my phone but cannot send them and cannot figure out why.I am not particularly tech savvy so any help I can receive would be greatly appreciated as I am currently housebound due to an injury and cannot get to a KooDo service kiosk to obtain assistance.

Try going over your email settings and see if maybe they are causing the problem.

hi Elizabeth,
Have you changed some settings in yahoo? Or rogers yahoo changed its security settings?
Yahoo sometimes required "application password" that are generated using their yahoo tool on their website. Each application has its own password. I would suggest you try to generate a application password on yahoo and use it to sign in on your phone.
