Even then there may be issues. I got a shipping confirmation email/ on Thursday, and while the tracking # is active at Canada Post, it hasn't yet received its first scan by CP. It was around 5pm Eastern on Thursday, so it would understandable if it didn't make it into that day's delivery to CP induction, but an additional day or more, not so much.
If they are creating the CP tracking label info before pick-and-pack, they shouldn't be releasing the shipping email until whatever scan they likely do after the order is actually packed.
Should be able to purchase sim from retailer activate it online so account is up and running quickly. I contacted koodo right after my purchase trying to activate account so I could refer my wife for the $100 credit note I will have to deal with them after the fact about it
