I just happened to wander onto the koodo site for the first time in several months and my jaw dropped when i saw the $45 and $56 data plans. I was even a little disappointed i didn't hear about the 6GB promo in august.

Inline with other people's request to show appreciation to loyal customers, it would be nice if we could sign up for txt and/or email and/or (push notifications to koodo app) so existing customers knew about great promos, not just new customers that happen to be shopping around at the right time.

Maybe this opt-in could only appear after you've been a customer for 3 months?

They did send me an email to let me know. You might have gotten it too, maybe it went to your junk folder.

I never got an email with this on it. Only found out about the new promotional Canada wide plans when we went in to get a new phone plan for my wife.

I'm not sure if you can get emails but you can try emailing/calling Koodo and see if they can update you on these things. You can also like Koodo's Facebook page as they do many updates and announcements on that page as well.

Or you can regularly check the Koodo site or those sites which updates deals in Canada like RedFlagDeals or such.

nope, didn't get the email.

I'll "like" them on facebook so i'll see all the annoucements, but not all of them will show up on my wall, and some of them (like new phones) i don't care about, i just want to be kept up to date on rate plans.

Just check out Koodo website once a month, the deals are usually a month long or so. Then they won't slip by unnoticed. Also on Facebook add Koodo to your interests & you'll get all their posts. - KID ANDROID. ( Team.Android.Canada)

Hey Derek, this is a nice idea. We'll take it under consideration. Should a decision be made about it, we will let everyone know :).
