I have an iPhone 3s on a Koodo account.
I have an iPhone 4s that is unlocked.
I bought a new SIM for the 4s.
I want to switch my Koodo number to the new sim and the 4s.
I went to Mobile Phone, Change Phone and I got to Step 3 asking me to confirm.
It says: Current Phone: SWAP UNIT iPHONE 3GS 32GB- Black IMEI: *******#### where the #### is my IMEI number.
It says: Current SIM no. ***********#### where #### is my current SIM Number.
It says: New SIM No. ################# where ################# is my new SIM number.
It's not asking what the new phone is that I want to switch to.
If I choose Confirm Changes, does it disable my old sim at that point?
I'm concerned because the chips are different sizes and If I cant type in a new IMEI number I'm stuck until Koodo opens tomorrow.
So, if I confirm at Step 3, does it disable my previous chip?

What you have to do is a SIM swap. You will enter in your new SIM number and IMEI into the blanks and confirm it. This will disable your old SIM and activate the new SIM with your current number.

Also you may need to update the carrier settings on your unlocked iPhone 4S

Here is how you do it:
