Opened an account. I registered. Now it won't allow me to log in. How is that possible for god sakes? New customer but frustrated already.

I created an account. What kind of detail could this require? It will not allow me to log in with the email and password that I registered with.

What error are you getting?

What error message are you getting? Did you provide a different email address when you bought the phone. You shouldn't have to create anything. When you bought the phone they would have asked you for a email address and koodo would have sent you an email to confirm things. That's what we got.

In Zeta's reply, this way is actually easier (or calling customer service at *611 or 1-866-995-6636) because sometimes the self serve login information allows you to set up an account the first time and then even though all the information is correct, it will not let you in again.

By going through customer service, they are able to put in the information for your account, send you a link to this email, and then make sure that it is set up on their end also.

I have found that it is better (ie. less errors) if you set up the account on your computer (while you are talking to customer service). Once Koodo shows that it is set up, and just to be on the safe side, log out of self serve and then log back in - sounds odd, but if it works after logging in the second time, then usually the password and email will continue to work.

Also, you can check the self serve app logins on your phone at the same time. This way, you cut down on frustrations (you don't have to worry about calling back about essentially the same thing - I know that when I had to call back about the same thing I was usually not as nice as I could be - more because I had to call back, then for whatever I was calling the agent about).

I hope this works for you so you can be the new customer, but no longer frustrated.
