I just moved over from Telus and I noticed that Koodo doesn't have an Online support chat instant messaging service.  I have noticed people who have online access but can't use their phones and have to go through other means to call client support.

What about an Online IM chat support.  It would be a lot more convenient for the client who can't use their phone or self serve to find out what's going on,.  Instead they can use an IM chat window and chat with someone live online instead of emailing or trudging to the nearest available phone or waiting for someone to respond here assuming they still have internet access.

I know I've used the online chat support at Telus more then a couple of times and found it was very convenient.

97% of the issues we have seen in the past get resolved here Falcon. This is our solution to "chat" and this way when the issue is the same other people benefit as well. In chat the convos remain hidden from others. Also, bear in mind we are definitely not TELUS. Our lower rates do come with some compromise which we are not ashamed of. That is that most of the support is done by customers using their online account more heavily and leverage our Community for assistance.

It should be your Google password (the one attached to the Google account on your phone).

@Marcie welcome to the Koodo forum. Please don't revive old threads, instead create a new thread with your question.

Agreed with Cory Z for inputting your Google account password to get past the initial setup wizard on your Google locked phone. Alternatively, you may be able to get through via SMS validation (using cellphone number associated with your Google account). You can even reset your Gmail password online from a computer if that helps.
