I would like to have a phone that people can reach me at from 2 different numbers. I do not want to use the voip # forward option as the quality is not good enough. What options for this service exist with Koodo?

There isn't an option. 1 phone = 1 number. Even with call forwarding its still 1 number. You will need 2 lines if you want this, which means 2 phones.

You can get a dual SIM phone and have 2 accounts connected to 2 different SIM Cards running in 1 phone.

Yeah a Dual Sim phone is probably the best bet but every one I've seen has been GSM only/not compatible here as cast thought. If they make HSPA dual sim phones that'd be the way to go! I haven't watched your video Kid, but I can't imagine it works as well.

It's just a ribbon connection that piggiebacks a second SIM from behind the first .

Ah gotcha. Took a peek (skimmed the video more like it) and I can't see that being a great solution let alone not fitting in all phones, but a neat idea none the less.

Thank-you for the replies. A double sim card phone sounds interesting if they both worked simultaneously. It would be nice but not necessary to call out from both lines, so a non voip forward would do. What if I bought a primary voice and data line for my actual use needs and then the cheapest voice package for a second line that just forwarded to the first number?

I don't see why you couldn't do that, sure. As long as koodo allows forwarding one of their #s to another of their #s then that's a great idea

I think you may need to add a $3 call forwarding add on to the number being forwarded in order to avoid being charged extra minutes, but other than that I see no problems.
