I have the One Plus 3T running Android 8.0.0 I am connected to a 4G network (lte) however it seems I was the only one in the office to not receive the Alert Ready Test this morning.

I wonder if anyone with Telus received the alert?

It’s a Telus and Bell issue, it worked well for Rogers. That’s the consensus on Twitter. But, they will have another one in September so hopefully that does well.

Heyyo, I have a LeEco Le Max 2 running LineageOS 15.1 (Android 8.1 Oreo) which is a custom ROM and I receive Canada alerts on Koodo mobile. Grande Prairie, Alberta. Got the one for the Bear Creek dam flood.

Are you sure?  They are not testing AB until May 9

For the record it is a test build of LineageOS 15.1 on my LeEco Le Max 2. I am one of the community developers for support for this device. LineageOS 15.1 (Android 8.1 Oreo). There is also official LineageOS 15.1 x2 updates out but I'm always testing my future updates.

Ok that looks like a real alert and not the test alert we are talking about.

Be safe out there man

True it is a real alert, but it should be all the same test or real... So Koodo mobile users should definitely be receiving all alerts... Maybe OnePlus 3T doesn't have the necessary updates/support on OxygenOS??? I'd contact OnePlus and find out from them too as it could be a OnePlus issue.

It's been confirmed that there's been a failure : https://mobilesyrup.com/2018/05/07/crtc-quebec-public-alert-testing-failure/
