I have my daughter on my present plan. If I go for a lesser one do I double the cost of that plan. I pay around $150 per month on the plan I have now. Thanks

Not quite sure what you mean by double the cost, whatever plan you pick is what you will pay, if you pick a 30$ plan then you will pay 30$ plus tax a month...is that what you meant?

Hi Martin,

Do you mean you have your own phone and your daughter has another phone on the same account? If so, plans are on a per-phone basis and not per-account. Your daughter can have a 50$ plan and you can have a 28$ plan. Therefor, no you will not pay double the cost of the plan. If you want both accounts to have the same plans then you will have to change plans twice, one for the first phone and another time for the second phone.

If you have any more questions, don't hesitate to ask!
Hope this helps!

From the sounds of it, as long as daddy is paying, nobody pays attention to any consumption or costs. Not an unfamiliar scenario. I am a senior myself and deal with a lot of "shared" bills with the younger generation.

The only long-term solution is to get everyone on their own plan and enjoy the real benefits and costs.
