Hi guys ! I’ve been with Koodo for few months now and I renew month to month with them, last week I decided to get a refurb phone from them online with the same plan and phone number I’ve been using. I Just got the phone today and it comes with a new SIM card. I already have one that I’m using with my old phone , do I really need to use the new SIM card they sent me to activate my new phone or I can use my old SIM card ? What difference it will make ?

hi Liana,
You don't have to activate the new SIM. It was inactivated and you could keep it as a backup. Your current number is still associated with the old SIM. If your old SIM is still working fine, there is no reason to switch to the new SIM.

The only reason to use the new Sim is if your iold Sim doesn't fit in the new phone As you are already with Koodo you would have to contact them to get the new sim activated.
