I recently moved from Vancouver to Victoria. I was told by the Koodo store that my number would become a local Victoria number when I moved, but have since learned that isn't true, and I have to change my number. When I do, will the old number have some sort of redirect message on it, like "the number has been changed, the new number is ..."? I have given this number out extensively based on advice from Koodo that it would be a Victoria number, and it will take some time to let everyone know it has been changed.
