Number Change Problem

Hi, I am currently experiencing some problems. I changed my phone number today. Once I changed the number my other number became inactive and my phone updated to this newest number. However, when I go to my koodo self serve the old number shows up only. When I go to change my phone number it says phone number entered is invalid. Will that eventually update or is there something wrong with my number change

Does calling and texting work?

If so, just give it a few days and the system should update your self serve. If not, you can call Koodo, *611 on your koodo cell, it's a free call

Hi there,

It will eventually change on it's own in the background, no need to worry! :) Koodos systems take a little bit longer than your phone does to update.

It is possible that the number port is being blocked due to a transit issue. The number could have been attempted to be ported to another company previously and is still tied up with the other company. If so, contact the other cell phone provider and have them cancel the port attempt and the Koodo port will go through.
