If what you mean is, "can I keep the same 10-digit number and area code", the answer is YES. No effort required on your part, other than to change your billing address.

You could move to Nfld tomorrow and keep the same area code + number. Would still be a local call to your friends in Sand Spit if that's a concern.

Just like the 250 and 604 area codes, the next 3 numbers are defined by geography, so as BobThe Electrician indicates, it would not be local in Vancouver, and folks calling you from there would be assessed long distance charges to call you, while your Sandspit friends would still make a local call. Unless you have a "free long distance package" on your phone, you would pay LD charges for all incoming calls.

You would have to get a new number to be local in Vancouver.
