I bought my koodo phone in NS, but now have moved to Toronto. Do I still have to pay for the NS 911 government fee? If I change to an Ontario number, will it be different?

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I think the 911 fee applies to the address currently on your account and not the phone #. Regardless of which scenario it is, you should change both to make your move easier.

After a little research in my help systems, the 911 fee is actually tied to your number. So if you keep your Nova Scotia number you will continue to be charged the $0.43 fee.

EDIT: You'll have to call Koodo to change your number to another province. Luckly, they'll waive the usual $25 service fee for this change because inter-provincial phone number changes cannot be done via Self Serve.
