Since I am no on a data-saver plan I saw this : Note: Notifications aren't applicable to Data Saver.

Which I find somehow logic, but you guys should make this option available though. Because if someone's doesn't want to go over 1GB or 500MB of data, then it will be nice to be notified each time you are at 10% of the next data usage.

What to you think?

I would think it's a system limitation. Other providers who offer flex data like Koodo don't even offer such a service (a general carrier limitation)

If you have an Android phone running Android version 4.0 or above then just go into settings and you can set up a warning and cut off point that won't allow data to be enabled once you hit that set amount. set it to where you want a warning or cut of then if you decide you want more just move it up to that point.
If you have an Android phone running a version of Android lower than 4.0 then go to the play store and download Watchdog 3g & do the exact same thing I mentioned previously above.

I'm sure there is comparable apps for the other Operating systems available also. There Easy Peasy.

I know there is :P But extra apps, means monitoring in the background. Koodo sending a text message is not battery-eating :)

PS : I have an iPhone, how dare you now know that ahaha

They don't take extra battery life or any more then if it's already built into the OS

Well, iPhone has a monitoring app, but it's not notifying you when you're at a certain point. This Is why maybe Koodo could do something! :)

The self serve app is wonderful for checking your usage on a daily basis ;).
