Note 5 not asking for unlock code

I switched from Telus to Koodo yesterday. But it doesn't ask me for unlock code after restarting the phone with Koodo sim inserted. Please help. I have tried #7465625*638*# and it doesn't work.

It shouldn't. You can use a Telus phone with Koodo and vice versa. If you're getting service than you're good.

On the lock screen, it says No Sim - Emergency Calls Only. I do see the signal bar is full. But it says not registered on network when I try to make a call.

I would try to reset the network settings and see if it help.

Last month someone used a telus SIM in my koodo phone. It took 2 restart to make the phone work. I would suggest you restart it again and check the Sim like Paul mentioned below

Are you sure your SIM Card is activated on the account already? Try bit in a different phone if possible. When did you activate the SIM?
You'll also need to change your APN settings if it doesn't automatically change it to Koodo's when putting the active SIM in.

Thank you for the suggestion. I tried another Koodo sim in my phone and it worked fine. I tried the my Koodo sim in an Iphone and it showed the No Sim message. So I am guessing my sim card is :f'ed. I got it from Best Buy yesterday around 7PM. Any way to fix this without going to a store?

NP if that SIM Card has been activated and its not working I'd visit Best buy and let them know and they should give you a new one if the SIM is defective.
