Just got a 150mb software update for my Note 4 and after it installed the touchscreen is unresponsive. The power and menu button works, but the screen does not register my touch, and I cannot unlock it. I had brief but choppy use of the screen right after the update installed and it was still Lollipop 5.0.1.

Might have been a software patch. I'm not near my Note 4 at the moment, but try a factory or hard reset using the hardware buttons:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D8xzj... - starts around 1:15 for the hard reset using the hardware buttons.

1. Turn off your Galaxy Note 4.

2. Press and hold Power, Volume Up and the Home button until you see ''Recovery Booting'' in blue at the top of your screen. Release the buttons.

3. You'll now be in Recovery Mode. Use the volume buttons to scroll up and down and Power button to confirm. It's not a bad idea to first wipe the cache partition as well, (not shown in video).

4. Scroll down to ''Wipe Data/Factory Reset'' and press Power to confirm.

5. Scroll down to ''Yes'' and press Power to confirm.

6. You'll see a notification in yellow at the bottom of the screen to confirm the reset has been completed. Scroll to ''Reboot System Now'' and hit Power to confirm.

7. Your Galaxy Note 4 will now reboot. Once it has rebooted, you can restore your apps and data.

Mine and another Mobile Masters Note 4 Did this after updating and turned it off and back on and it worked fine after that. Battery pull for a minute or so

Definitely perform a Factory reset like Rikkster suggested then that should fix the issue
