Note 2 data drop problem...

When my data is on, my phone will constantly drop the connection (both data and bars) to the little no signal sign... on and off.. essentially making the phone useless without wifi.
I've tried all of the solutions here (turning off auto connect, LTE, etc.,) but it still has the same issue. Has anyone figured out a new solution?
I've seen some people saying the issue might be kitkat 4.4.2?
