Not sure if payment went through

Hi there,

I just tried to pay my Koodo bill with a new credit card. It ended with an error, but the bank tells me an authorization has been placed on my credit card for the amount owing to Koodo.

So my question is, did the transaction go through or do I need to try again?

Hi Damian,
If the bank said it was processed, then you should wait. You could check the balance on your account by either logging into your selfserve, or call 611 and hit 1.

If there was some delay in Koodo processing, I would check again after several hours.

Still shows that I have a balance owing. I called the bank again and they told me the transaction was approved and posted on their end.

I’m getting a bit worried because my due date is tomorrow...

Damian, I don't see anything come through. I would try the payment again.

Or you can just call in to 611 and choose option 3.

This is not the first time we have seen this error on the community, but it also doesnt happen often either

Just talked to someone at Koodo. They said they’ll look into it and call me back tomorrow. Fingers crossed it works out.

So I just ended up paying with my old credit card. I'm not sure why my new credit card was giving me these issues. I'll stick to using my old one for now.
