not receiving data alerts

I don't use very much data, and often days go by in between using it.  However, I never receive a data alert telling me I'm at 50% or 90%; I only ever get one at 100% telling me my data has been turned off.  Does anyone else have this problem?  How do I get the other data alerts?  I hardly ever use all my data, but it's still annoying.

Login to self serve, click on usage, then under data click on change data alerts. Here youll be able to set your alerts to give you ones at 50, 90 and 100 like you wanted!

Yes, I've done that many times.  I still only get the 100% alert.

There is also a tool on your phone which will catalog your data use. It may not be exactly the same as Koodo calculates, but it will let you know generally where you are within the month. It is in accurate if you send a lot of pictures by text, as the phone app counts that as data, but Koodo does not.

My phone's kinda old, pretty sure it doesn't track data use.  I can't find it anywhere at least.  Otherwise, good suggestion, but I'd still like a service that koodo supposedly provides to function properly.

The issue with the data tracking tool on your phone is that includes pictures being sent as data, so it counts that.  So if you send 1000 pictures, your phone will see that as data and you'll get a warning WAY sooner than what Koodo will send you, as Koodo doesn't bill you for sending picture messages.

Yeah, I just looked up my phone on samsung's site.  I'd need to download an app to track data usage cause there's no built in tool.  Like I said, that's all well and good, but I'm supposed to be getting alerts from koodo, and I'm not.  That's the issue.

Try to uncheck the boxes for the 50 and 90% notifications.  Save.  Then log out and log back in and re check those boxes.  Let see if that resets the system

I have tried doing that in the past and I did it again when it happened the last time.  I'll have to wait until next billing cycle to see if it works, but i know it didn't work last time.  Thanks for the suggestion.

If it doesnt work, I suggest sending Kodoo a facebook private message and someone there would be able to check the back end for ya
