Go to www.gsmarena.com. Check your exact model of phone and you will see what frequencies the phone supports. Android phones often have a sticker behind the battery.

Caution: there are often different models produced for North America, Europe and the far East.

Phones that are uniquely GSM (2G) or CDMA will not work on Koodo's network.

Koodo supports the following frequencies:
3G/HSPA 850/1900 and
4G/LTE 1700/2100MHz.

If your phone supports these bands, it should work provided it's unlocked.

RudyW's page on on checking the IMEI is a good start, though some have commented it doesn't cover everything.

And many will not believe that NO is NO until they have seen a corroborating reason on screen to proceed or not. Most enquiries are for far East models (India, Korea) that have great features, but there's no point in having a zippy phone that will give you grief any % of the time on data.
