What type of phone is it? And are you trying to activate for a prepaid account?

Prepaid doesn't support the older cdma phones. You need to use a phone that requires a sim card and you need to acquire a prepaid sim card which is different from postpaid sim cards.

Oh that's different. CDMA phones are locked to carriers and you can't unlock them. It won't work with Koodo. Sorry.

Telus owns Koodo. That's about it. Not all phones from Telus will work with Koodo unless unlocked. iPhones are an exception. Since it is a CDMA phone from Telus and you are wanting to use it on Koodo, that will not work.
