Hey Leigh,

Try taking the back off your phone, then remove your SIM card followed by your battery with your phone still on. Wait several seconds then put everything back. Turn on your phone and wait to see if your bars come up.

If this does not work, I would check your network settings by going to: Apps > Settings > More Settings > Mobile Networks > Network Operators > then let it search for Koodo. If that fails to work, you might have to refer to your nearest Koodo Kiosk/retailer or call customer service at 1-866-995-6636.

I hope this resolves your issue! :)

Hmmm that's unfortunate to hear Leigh. Did you by chance try following the above instructions to see if that worked?

Go into SETTINGS > NETWORK CONNECTIONS > MOBILE NETWORKS > NETWORK MODE. Make sure that it is NOT SET to GSM only.

I suggest taking your phone to the nearest Koodo kiosk so that they could try a different SIM. I suspect that it's just a faulty SIM, in which case you'll be able to get a new one. If not, you could be looking at a warranty issue.

A hard reset would be your final option if none of the above suggestions are working for you. This will wipe everything from your phone. Go to Settings > Back up and reset - Factory data reset. Make sure the Back up my data and Automatic restore boxes are enabled and verify you have a backup account i.e. gmail. Should that fail to provide results, follow Ivan's recommendation.

I'm sorry to hear that Leigh! In that case I would recomend heading to see your nearest Koodo Rep. It may be an internal issue on the phone as well. I hope everything works out for you Leigh!

If your phone show "no service" message while inserting new sim?Yes means,Try powering off the device and removing the battery if possible > then remove the sim card and leave it out for a minute > reinsert the sim card > power on the device. If your problem persists, there may be a chance to your phone is restricted by some network carrier,So try to unlock your phone. For unlocking visit http://www.superunlockcodes.com/samsu...
