no mobile network

I have been having a problem with my Samsung Ace last few days...keeps saying no mobile network, but in city centre and there should be service...I tried connecting to a network...but it just says unable to connect...and yes my bill is paid...lol..any thoughts..???

Check your settings in the mobile network settings...there shouldn't be a check on 2G networks.

I suggest to turn off the device and remove the battery and the SIM card and wait about 60sec.
