I rarely use my phone at home , as I have a landline, so its mostly outside of the home when travelling. I cannot make a phone call from inside my house and I can't receive and now that I think about it , its probably from day one. I had a telus phone and rogers phone account in the past ( same house) and never had problems , now I have to go outside , no problem calling , but inside nothing ( except over the sink by the window phone held high, yet friends come over and they can all make and receive calls.I have a Samsung Galaxy Ace2

Sounds like there are reception issues with your phone.

If you had no problems with a Telus phone before in the same house, it is not a problem with the cellular signal penetrating the house. Since Koodo uses the same network as Telus, it would imply that the phone probably has a poor antenna or a defective antenna. I would look into getting the phone replaced.
