no service on new activation

I activated a prepaid plan yesterday- still don’t have service. The phone is Koodo compatible, it’s set to 3G, the verification email went through. Any idea how I get service?

Dd you try restarting  your phone?
Do you see active status when you log into self serve?

I had similar problem try to activate a prepaid yesterday evening. Called customer service, apparently there was an outage around service yesterday. The agent initially sent a ticket to the enginer department but nothing happed for few hours. Called again the same awesome agent help me to deactivated existing and re-activate the SIM and finally I got the service. My SIM lost connection again later and I had to call 3rd time to get SIM re-setup.
