I have an HTC One M8 and have been stranded in Amsterdam with no service. I bought a roaming plan, manually tried to connect to carriers etc despite the self help section saying that I shouldn't have any problems with the country / phone type combo. I'm worried as I'm in Poland next, and absolutely need access to a network to navigate life. Anyone have any ideas of what's going on???

Make sure you have international voice roaming added as well.

Yep! Got the Int'l bundle for $40.

Not the bundle. The specific free add on called international voice roaming, which allows the phone to connect to international networks.

Log into self serve

Under "useful links" choose

Add/change/remove add ons

Add the "international voice roaming" add on

If you're going to use data too add the "international data roaming" add on

Restart your device.

Let us know if that solves your issues.
